Do you end your workday at 6:00pm Really? Business English

The French really do end their workday at 6:00pm. They don't look at their business e-mails, and go out and enjoy themselves.  Do you?  Can you?  I know that I can't.  I have to always be on the lookout for a new lesson to confirm.
